About
You usually know what you want from an interface before you know what it is called. moveset gives those things names, shows each one moving, and turns it into a prompt an agent can build from. It is opinionated on purpose: fewer terms, each one done properly.
Why I made it
I am a product designer and design engineer. I prototype in React, and I work with AI coding agents most days. I started moveset because I kept describing motion to them as “that thing where…” and getting back something close, but wrong. The agent guesses when the words are vague, and a guess about the motion is a guess about the feel.
Every entry here is written to be acted on: a demo you can feel, a prompt with acceptance criteria an agent can be checked against, the code for each route, and the states an agent usually forgets. Nothing is published until it has been built, measured and reviewed.
Where I learned this
Most of what is here comes from four design engineers who write about their craft. Read them.
